EUKI Students Quiz

The European Climate Initiative (EUKI) will inform about its work for climate action and the Europe-wide commitment of its more than 60 projects at an information stand at the Jubiläumsplatz.
Schoolchildren are cordially invited to learn more about the EUKI and innovative approaches to climate action and European cooperation in a quiz. And of course there is also something to win!

Climate Action in Cities Worldwide – PlaNYC – Climate Resiliency Design Guidelines

A successful resiliency strategy is one that provides co-beneficial outcomes, reduces costs over the life of the asset wherever possible and avoids negative indirect impacts to other systems. Resilient design should not exist in a silo, but rather be a well-integrated part of existing processes and address other goals of the city.

A week ago, Konstanz proclaimed the climate emergency, now wants to follow Heidelberg as a “sign” before the beginning of May 22 International Climate Conference (ICCA 2019).
