Expert in energy efficiency in buildings. Engineering diploma in Architecture at University of Technology in Vienna and also a Master’s degree in Facilities Management at Danube-University. Worked as an architect in Vienna and Paris, later as a researcher and international project manager for energy efficiency in buildings. Expert evaluator for the European Commission and for the Austrian government. Since 2012 Project leader and energy expert for GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit), starting in Ukraine and since January 2018 head of Secretariat and of the Programme for Energy Efficiency in Buildings (PEEB) – a cooperation between France and Germany
