The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) invests in changing people’s lives in Central Europe, Central Asia, the Western Balkans and the southern and eastern Mediterranean region. It puts an emphasis on working with the private sector. The Bank is owned by 67 countries as well as the EU and the EIB.
